An international coalition of families, individuals, non-profit organizations, support groups, and health professionals participate in a campaign to increase public awareness of Congenital Heart Defects and Childhood Heart Disease.

Social Media

Raising awareness via social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.can be very effective and fun! Here are just a few ideas to help get you started:

• On Twitter, use the hashtag #CHD when posting

• Add the CHD Awareness Twibbon to your profile picture on Facebook and Twitter

• Like the CHD Awareness Week 2012 page on Facebook and invite your friends and followers to do the same.

• Encourage your friends and members to become involved in the passage of Pulse Ox Screening for Critical Congenital Heart Disease

• Share information about and ask for donations for your local support group, national organization, research foundation, or other CHD resource.

• Post reliable CHD facts
