Zoey was born by c/section because she was breech. At day 3 of life our pediatrician told us about a murmur, but said that many murmurs are benign and we should wait and see if it goes away. At day 11 of life at a busy appointment which included 8 year old Sydney and 4 year old Reese, she heard the murmur again and recommended a Pediatric Cardiology appointment. At 2-1/2 weeks of life she was diagnosed with a moderately large VSD by echo.

Zoey is now 5 months old, no closure of the VSD, and getting ready for surgical correction.
