Trenton was born in a small town in KS. Three days later I noticed him breathing funny and took him in to the hospital. Twenty minutes later they life-watched him to a bigger hospital where he was diagnosed with HLHS. It was nothing but a whirl wind for the next week. The next thing I knew we were in Michigan at the University of Michigan Motts Children's Hospital. He had his 1st surgery 8 days after birth.

He has now been through all of the surgeries and is an ornery 2 year old. You would never know what he has gone through (unless you looked at his chest). He is vibrant and ornery and there is not a day that goes by that I don't thank God and the doctors for giving me a son!!
