Jacey Ray

HLHS, Fontan

JaceyJacey Ray was born at the Claremore Indian Hospital on October 16,1998. Her first surgery was on October 20,1998. She did very well and spent about 4-1/2 weeks in the hospital. She had the hemi-Fontan on February 24,1999 and this also went very well?went home eight days later. Jacey's Fontan was done on April 10, 2000. She had to go back into surgery on April 14 due to a blood-clot and they had to redo what was already done. Jacey came out of surgery with the fenestrated Fontan. Everything that could have gone wrong DID this time. Only by the Grace of God is she here today. All of her surgeries were done at The Children's Hospital Of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City by Dr Ronald Elkins

? Sandy and Jimmy, Jacey's grandparents;
