Drake |
Our son Drake was born June 6th 2000. At just 1 week early he
was the perfect baby. The doctors felt that he was completely
healthy and sent him home the day after he was born. When
Drake was 5 weeks old I took him in for his well baby check up
and his heart rate was high along with his respirations. His
pediatrician sent us to the pediatric cardiologist the next day. From that
point on our lives changed. Drake and I were flown by lifeflite to Omaha where he would have his surgery. Kamran drove to
Mitchell to pick up my mom and they went the rest of the way
to Omaha.
The day after we got to Omaha, Drake had his surgery. The
doctors did a complete repair and Drake was discharged to go
home 8 days after his surgery.
Drake is now a happy, healthy 2-1/2 yr. old that is full of
energy!
