Louis T. Savino, III
5/22/85 10/12/00
|
|
He gave us the gift of
unending humor; he not only laughed a lot, but his witty sense of
humor was infectious.
He gave us the gift of
service. He volunteered many hours of his time as he tutored
children, read to the elderly, served as the Penn Charter
Choir Librarian, tutored his fellow students in Latin, and offered
help to his family.
He gave us the gift of
intelligence, and he shared that intelligence with everyone in his
path, in a very modest way. His remarkable memory enabled him
to recall countless sports statistics, sports team trivia, historic
events in our world and specific details about every American
president.
He gave us the gift of
music. He played the piano eloquently since the age of 4 and he
hoped to someday to form a band with two of his best friends.
He gave us the gift
of the spoken and written word. He had the wondrous ability to speak
to people at any age about almost any topic a sign of true
maturity. His ultimate "dream" was to become a Sportscaster for
a major television network.
Louis gave us the gift
of unselfish love and patience the precious gifts of our world.
He was an exemplary son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

Benjamin provided us more joy, love, happiness and beauty in his two short years than others find in a lifetime. Thank-you from the bottom of our hearts, Benny.

Reuben William Seet
11/25/95 - 7/2/01 |
 |
Our Dear little Reuben was born on
November 25, 1995. He was at 8 months of age when he was diagnosed
with Williams Syndrome, Supra- Valvular Aortic Stenosis and Branch
Pulmonary Stenosis. After open heart surgery at 18 months of age,
these two conditions were mended only to be replaced unexpectedly
3 days later by Aortic Arch Stenosis.
In February 2001, our beautiful boy
underwent grueling surgery which lasted 9 hours. Things did not go
well and Reuben was placed on life support (VAD - ventricular
assist device) for the next five days. On the fifth day
we cheered because he showed every sign of having won the battle.
He returned to surgery to be taken off life support and
there he had Heart Failure and died. We were stunned,
shocked and yet a deep peace existed as though we knew this was
going to happen. His 5th birthday was the best ever because I
felt it was his last! He struggled for five years and was
finally talking, toilet trained and off all medications. His
syndrome was his strength, it was his character, but it robbed us
of our boy.
"Dearest little Ruby, the pain is
agony, the loss is unexplainable, but you suffered for 5
years and it was time to return home to peace, fun and happiness.
Mummy and Daddy miss you every minute of the day. Your
brothers and sisters still wait for your return, even your little
friends still ask when are you coming home. Have fun my boy,
you deserve nothing but the best.
One day my darling, you will back in my
arms". I loved and love you so very much.

Raven Ising
6/15/99 - 3/23/01 |
Raven was born with ASD,
VSD, pulmonary stenosis and transposition of the arteries. She
had a very tough winter with a lot of respiratory problems and we
were in and out of Riley Hospital all winter.
Raven is no longer suffering, but is now sitting on God's knee and
finally pain free. I miss her each and every day but my heart
will hold on to that head full of wild dark hair and that smile and
her strength.
